Stephen Vowles
1958 to 2022
Stephen was unique. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone so passionately supportive of everyone on the gay scene. Visiting restaurants, cafes, bars, cinemas, clubs, theatre, concerts…..every genre of the gay scene was vivaciously enjoyed by Stephen. He knew everybody and supported everybody.
Relentlessly jolly, a huge sense of fun, and an unparalleled joi de vivre. Within minutes of an event he would write it up and post on Social Media. His work and life-style one and the same, his passion was well suited to his long alliance with BOYZ magazine.
